2016

The Foundation

enGenome is born as a high-tech spin-off from the University of Pavia to bridge the gap between Artificial Intelligence and Genomics.

2019

eVai Launch

Our journey takes a major leap forward with the introduction of eVai, enGenome’s flagship platform for variant interpretation. Combining AI and bioinformatics it classifies the genomic variants of a patient and suggests the possible genetic diagnosis associated.

2022

Global Recognition

The European Innovation Council (EIC) officially recognizes eVai as a disruptive technology, highlighting its unique ability to interpret variant combinations. Simultaneously eVai’s precision is validated on the global stage, ranking as a top-performing software in the NIH-funded CAGI Challenge. This is a pivotal moment in the company's growth.

2023

The GenAI Revolution

enGenome introduces VarChat, the world’s first GenAI genomic assistant. By automating the synthesis of dense scientific literature, VarChat significantly increases interpretive bandwidth for experts worldwide.

2026

A Decade of Impact
