Introduction

This document contains the Quality Policy of EnGenome. It expresses the commitment and importance that the company places in improving its organization and the quality of its products.

Our Mission

Our mission is to deliver the most accurate and fast bioinformatics software for the diagnosis of human genetic and genomic diseases.

We are therefore fully committed to reducing the health disparities in accessing proper software solutions for the interpretation of genome sequencing data, as this remains a major barrier to widespread adoption of this technology and limits the benefit of genomic medicine in healthcare.

In eVai, we have a flagship product based on a breakthrough innovation that is able to suggest a genetic diagnosis by identifying among the millions of possibilities, those pathogenic variants at the basis of monogenic and oligogenic disorders. Our solution has the potential to end the diagnostic odyssey for millions of rare disease patients.

Our Vision

Started by three passionate scientists keen to make a difference, our vision goes beyond the success of enGenome as a company. We believe that genome sequencing holds the key to the diagnosis and treatment of some of the most devastating genetic-based diseases (rare diseases and cancer).

With this belief, our vision sees us serving the most underserved part of genomic innovation: variant interpretation. For us, eVai is the start of our journey to fulfilling this vision. With a product ready to serve the rare disease market segment, we can then begin the adaptations of our innovation to oncology and the different types of segments in need of our innovation.

Our Commitment to Quality

Our company is aware of the importance of assuring quality throughout its organization, to the purpose of satisfying customers needs at their best and to ensure the maximum health of patients.

For these reasons, EnGenome decided to adopt a Quality Management System compliant to the ISO 13485:2016 and ISO 9001:2015 standard, and commits to put all the necessary effort for its implementation and maintenance.
