enGenome took a step towards raising awareness for rare diseases by organizing a special 5K run event on February 29th, the rarest day of all. This unique initiative aimed to shine a spotlight on the challenges faced by individuals and families affected by rare diseases while fostering a sense of community and support.

The activity, aptly named "Run for Rare," brought together employees for a day of fun, inspiration and meaningful connections. In addition to organizing the run, enGenome has also collaborated with Osservatorio Malattie Rare to support ongoing awareness activities. This partnership underscores enGenome's commitment to support initiatives that benefit the rare disease community.

Looking ahead, enGenome is already envisioning ways to scale up their efforts for the following year's event, with a focus on expanding participation and increasing impact within the community. By continuing to prioritize rare disease awareness and advocacy, enGenome aims to make a lasting difference in the lives of those affected by rare diseases.
